About Doctor Kurt M. Pepperell

          I was born in Lansing, Michigan and spent the first 8 years of my life there.  My family and I then moved to Mercer, Pennsylvania, where we lived for another 8 years .  Once again, my family mom, dad, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters moved to the land of Lincoln.  I attended and graduated from Lincoln Community High School in Lincoln, Illinois.  The next 9 years after High School I received an Associate of Arts from Lincoln College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Medical Biology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Logan College of Chiropractic. Then, in December of 2004 I received  my Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic and later my certification in Acupuncture.  During college, I met my wife Nicole, and we were married in June of 2001.  After graduation Nicole and I moved to Peoria, Illinois where we purchased our first home.  That same year I opened my practice and met Doctor Keller.  In August of 2005, Doctor Keller and I decided to open KP Chiropractic and Acupuncture and started looking for a new location.  The new office, KP Chiropractic and Acupuncture, opened its doors to the community of Peoria in November of 2005.

    I am a huge sports fan and I am true to my roots.  My favorite teams are all from Michigan except for my National League baseball team.  I cheer for the Detroit Redwings, Detroit Lions, Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers, University of Michigan, and the St. Louis Cardinals.  When I'm not at the office, you can bet that I'm probably listening to one of their games or watching a game or two.

    I am also very fond of theatre and music. I have been in several plays both in high school and in college.  Because of music, I met my wife, so it will always be an important part of my life.
